Heather Rhea Dawn is a Shibari artist, intuitive healer, and educator whose work blends rope with over 30 years of experience in bodywork, movement, and conscious relating. Practicing Shibari since 2018, she weaves together influences from massage therapy, dance, Tantra, breathwork, ecstatic dance, Contact Improvisation, and Aerial Contact—which she co-created—to create deeply embodied and connective experiences. She has studied with teachers from Japan, Europe, Southeast Asia, and the United States, bringing a diverse and integrative perspective to her rope practice.

Her approach to Shibari goes beyond technique—it is an invitation into presence, sensation, movement, and authentic connection. Rooted in consent, communication, and nervous system awareness, Heather creates a grounded and intentional space for exploration, trust, and self-discovery.

Known for her nurturing yet powerful presence, she guides with a balance of softness and strength, offering space to explore surrender, self-expression, and embodiment. Her teaching blends technical skill with relational awareness, making rope both accessible and deeply meaningful.

Heather brings decades of experience in conscious communication, Tantra, and embodiment into her classes, workshops, private sessions, and lessons. She works with individuals and couples to deepen connection, build trust, and awaken the body through intentional touch and rope.

For her, Shibari is about connection—without connection, there are only ropes and knots. It is about taking someone on a journey, creating an experience, and bringing presence to each moment.

She travels internationally teaching Shibari and supporting others in embodying the practice. As a healer, she also supports people beyond rope—through massage and energy work—facilitating healing on multiple levels.
